I'm quitting Vox.
There's too many things to do nowadays, and I'm guessing that I'll have such little time to write posts when I go to high school.
I also think that the things I post here are extremely personal.
I'll be posting blog things in my personal sites, the sites that none of you know of.
I know I'm always quitting on you guys, and "sorry" isn't enough.
But I rarely post anymore, and I've lost addiction.
I think about it now, and I think that DeviantArt is really the only site I need.
RMD and smackjeeves, too, of course.
they are also extremely vital.
Well, this is farewell to vox, farewell to the community, and hello to privacy.
for the last time ever, goodnight.
No!
I did so many things since the last post!
I can't describe all of the events!
@_@
I have to list them...please trust me that I have good reasons to the bad ones...

Thank you for the current 21 fans, by the way!
:)
How about a bigger smile?
C: <--- Miki-chan's style. Some people changed their smilies to this because it's cute
Others:
This one is the original to the avi page:
And this one my aunt forced me to draw in front of her because she didn't believe me when I showed her my DA gallery:
Because of the listings, it looks like I haven't done a lot, but to me, it feels like I haven't been on Vox since forever.
After this post I'll fix my links and stuff.
Goodnight :)
After promotion, it was just very traditional.
We sign yearbooks, and we have lots of parties in class.
Monday was very plain.
On Tuesday my friends and I went to see the movie "Don't Mess with the Zohan"
It was really funny, but really inappropriate.
Later we went to Barnes and Nobles to read the first chapter of Breaking Dawn from Eclipse Special Edition.
The cover of Breaking Dawn is just fantastic.
If you haven't seen it yet, you should.
I don't know if I can wait until August...
I'm so excited! xD
Wednesday is unforgettable.
As usual, we ended school with a fire drill.
Most eighth grade students, including me, were crying.
We all knew we would never ever have a class in our school again.
They locked the gates and I cried even more when my friend said,
"They locked the gates! And we'll never be able to enter again!"
She was crying while she said it, and because of her shaky voice, I just had to cry also.
I get the chills going back to remember how painful it was, standing outside of school, a school we are all familiar with, a school that supported our family, a school that was a second home, a school that was just inches away.
But later my friends and I went to the beach.
On the way we sang the chorus of "Graduation" over and over again.
We couldn't stop crying.
We got to the beach, and it was so much fun!
The water was really cold, but I got used to it very fast.
Some of the waves pushed me hard into the shore.
But that was one of the reasons why it was so fun.
The bad thing was that one of my friends and I idiotically went to far into the ocean, and we couldn't touch the sea floor.
Another friend decided to help, so she came to try to save us.
We only ended up further in the ocean, all drowning but laughing at the same time.
It was difficult trying to jump the waves because we didn't have anything to jump off of.
One of my friends and I managed to try to body surf out, and it worked.
The third friend, however (the one who tried to go save us), went way too far and a lifeguard had to go save her.
It was terrifying, but a nice story to tell. :)
After swimming we buried each other in the sand.
We had so much fun!
Plus we took lots of pictures :)
Later we washed up and changed to go eat.
There was so much good food!
And we even had a bonfire!
I was full to the extreme.
After the beach, we all decided to have a sleepover at my house.
We had some fun lip syncing to some music.
We ate lots of good stuff like cookies, ramen (a lot of ramen), chocolate, and popcorn when we watched "The Phantom of the Opera".
We were so pooped out!
Sleeping took less than a few seconds to accomplish.
Today I went to LA to go say goodbye to a friend who was going to Korea for a year and to pay a visit to my aunt, who needs special care.
These things don't sound very interesting, but they're things that are nice to me.
I've been reading too much manga lately.
I started about 3, and ignoring some others.
I had better watch out if I want to be updated on all the manga I'm reading.
Sorry for not going on RMD lately.
I've lost addiction to it.
But still, I'll try to be drawing there.
To finish it off, here some of the new songs added to my iTunes. :D
Ahhh!
This past week has been so busy!
I have so many fun things to talk about!
:)
:D
So the first thing is the Promotion Dance.
I was amazing.
The theme was called "A Night in Paris".
Everything was so gorgeous!
D:!!!
There was lots of free yummy food, and the dance was awesome.
There were laser lights, free photo booths, and free giveaways!
One of my best friends one the third prize giveaway! :O
She got lots of nice things--in a basket.
Someday I'm gonna go steal her iPod shuffle...
Many people looked so nice!
I wish my dress looked a little more party-ish.
But whatever, it's just a dress.
I know I looked really retarded when I danced out there, but that's okay.
It's not like everyone will remember...
...right?...
The last song was the best.
They played "Graduation" by Vitamin C, and it was just so sad.
I don't exactly remember what I did on Saturday...
I'm sure it didn't matter if I don't remember...
On Sunday, it was just the usual church and go home, but this time my dad was being so immature.
I was drawing (as usual) on the computer, and then he tells me to clean out Koko's (my dog) poop, and to wash her.
So I clean out the poop and I go to wash her.
Here's what I was drawing, by the way.
This drawing was based on a previous one:
Koko was really hyper that day, so when I called her, she wouldn't come to me.
I always have to restrain her when she takes a shower because Koko hates water.
I even tried to give her a treat, but she still wouldn't come.
So then I asked my dad to get her for me so I can wash her.
But he was just silent for a moment and said "no".
And then I said, "Dad, I can't wash her if she won't come to me."
And he said, "Fine, then don't wash her. And no computer for you all week."
Wow.
I hate how dumb my dad is.
His own dad ran away when he was five, so my dad doesn't know exactly how to be a dad.
I went in and went on computer anyways, since my mom told be to draw something for my friend's College Graduation card.
He saw me on the computer, got mad, pulled out the cord, hid the cord, and then told me that I have not computer for a year.
-_-
Yeah, like that ever happens.
I then basically had nothing to do, so I went to the balcony.
I sat on the wall for a while, getting some fresh air.
When people cleared from the neighborhood, I climbed up to the roof.
The roof was like any other roof.
A slanted, tiled roof.
I was afraid at first, but then it got better.
The sky was beautiful.
There were all these warm colors and perfect clouds.
I told myself that next time I came here, I would take pictures.
Later that night I remembered that my friends told me to make copies of the Promotion Photo Booth Photos.
I didn't know how to run the copy machine, so I asked my dad to teach me.
He said he didn't want to teach me.
So then I said that if he didn't teach me, then I would have to use the computer.
He got mad and pushed me and hit me, yelling, "I TOLD YOU THAT YOU'RE NOT GOING ON THE COMPUTER!"
He was at the laptop playing internet poker while telling me this.
We had a heated discussion, and after he pushed me a second time, I grabbed the keys and said, "I'm out of here."
Then I ran away from home for a while.
It was really dark, so I got scared.
I headed towards my house and sat on the side across from it.
I cry when I get mad, so I just cried like a little kid, and when I was done, I headed back home and when back on the roof.
My parents don't even bother to check where I am, so I was fine.
When I went back in my mom was calling me.
She knew I'd run away.
I guess my dad didn't see me get back in the house.
She laughed and said, "Where were you?"
I was surprised that she wasn't furious.
I laughed with her and said, "Somewhere."
She said, "You were hiding, weren't you?"
We laughed for a second, and then we walked away.
Later my dad went to me and said,
"You don't have to run away anymore."
I cried and walked away.
I was still mad at my dad, so I was planning to walk to school the next morning.
Knowing myself, I couldn't wake up early enough.
So I just got a ride from my dad (awkwardly).
After school was the promotion ceremony.
It took only about forever, but I loved how organized and fancy it was.
I'm glad I didn't trip on the stage.
This one girl who was next to me, though, is a friend who has slight mental illness. (literally)
So she kept kicking my shins and yanking on my necklace for fun.
My necklace was tangled, and a part of my shins were skinned off.
I was about to cry.
She kept ruining my day, even though I tried to tell her to stop.
Plus, after I got my 4.0 GPA certificate, she grabbed it and told me she was going to rip it.
She didn't, but I still felt extremely uncomfortable.
I wished I could be with anyone but her.
So after the ceremony I met with my friends and parents.
My dad magically returned to normal happy, so it was okay.
He got me a huge balloon and small bundle of roses.
We took a lot of pictures with friends and teachers.
Later we all went to Elephant Bar with a couple of my friends and their families.
We had a blast! :)
Continued in next post :D
lalala.
I got pretty addicted to this song lately.
It's called "Asterisk", and I think it's one of the opening songs for Bleach.
I don't read Bleach, though.
I kind of got hooked at the beginning, but then it got boring.
When mangas get boring, I stop reading it, lol.
But since a lot of people like it, I think I should consider reading it again.
I don't know.
Depends on my free time. (all the time)
On Tuesday, the eighth grade class went to Disneyland.
It was so much fun~
I didn't buy lots of candy, though.
Just a lolipop and some more lolipops for my mentor kids.
I would usually buy a huge amount of food...
and then barely burn it off by walking.
:)
We didn't get to go on as many rides as we thought.
We were too busy trying to ditch some friends we thought were annoying.
It was really hard to get them off, but eventually, we succeeded by running when there was a big crowd everywhere.
So yeah...
Today we had the Honor Roll dessert at six (pm).
What was kind of weird was that my mom scheduled a math tutor for me at that very time.
I said, "Mom, no tutor today. I have Honor Roll dessert at six."
And she said, "I'm not canceling it. I didn't know you had Honor Roll today. You never told me. You never gave me any flyers."
"But I thought you knew because usually, you would know these kinds of things."
"Well I never knew. I'm still not canceling the tutor."
(pause)
"Well whether you cancel it or not, I'm going to walk to school for Honor Roll anyways."
And then she gave up and told me the tutor's cell number.
:D
At Honor Roll, it wasn't very fun.
All you do is get on stage when they call your name, sit back down, go grab your certificates from the gym, eat a cookie, and then go home.
Last year's and the year before that had way better desserts than this year.
In the previous years they had really nice pies and cakes.
It was delicious, and we got to stay at school longer.
Eh, at least you get free food?
Oh yeah, and yesterday my friends and I went to get a spa manicure/pedicure.
The place was really nice.
I don't think that any hotel could have done a better job making it look as nice.
The spa chairs were so comfortable.
They did a good job on the nails.
Not spectacular, but good.
It feels cleaner, but some nail polish chipped off on my toe.
I don't think that's a big deal, but what I'm concerned about is that there is a mysterious lump on one of my nails that is about the size of an eye poop.
A small, hard eye poop.
Okay, fine.
It's the size of a really small piece of sand.
That's better.
If you guys didn't subscribe or check my RMD lately, here's what's going on.
I made the first redo page of Aviation: Reminiscence.
It looks a lot nicer than the previous one.
It would look ten times nicer if the "optimized lines" tool thing actually worked.
Well, I guess it'll do.
If you're wondering what the thing next to him is, it's soup.
Sorry for being a bad soup drawer.
I...I should take lessons on that.
I'm not going to post any more pages of this manga.
But maybe I'll post some if I draw ones that I think are terrible and want you guys to laugh at it.
Speaking of bad manga, yesterday I tried drawing the second page, but it just looked terrible.
I should try being more patient in drawing the characters, because this manga is starting to look like a mess already.
Also, I finished a request from Naruto1.
She requested the Snow Fairies from Little Tiny Snow Fairy Sugar.......whatever it's called.
And I failed!
Oh my gosh, this must be one of the worst drawings ever!
Why do all my requests end up horribly?
Okay, when you see it, please don't laugh at me.
Oh my gosh.
You're rolling on the floor laughing, aren't you?
rofl.
Aaaaaah, it's bad.
It's bad.
It's bad.
Save it.
Fix it.
Please.
This is definitely not going on my DeviantArt.
Sorry about that, Naruto1.
I'm so mad that Tokyopop.com doesn't support PNG's for picture uploads.
PNG is probably 90% of the formats all my drawing are in!
I know how to change them, but I don't want to have a million duplicates!
grrrrrrr.
This also means that it doesn't let me upload all my favorite icons.
>:
Yesterday I discovered a delicious piece of sugar called "Abba-Zaba"
It's basically peanut butter wrapped in taffy, but it's delicious.
I want another one.
o_o
The saddest anime movie ever.
It's called the Grave of the Fireflies.
My friend told me about it, and she was right.
I was crying like crazy.
I don't think it was as bad as Passion of the Christ, but it was bad.
It made me cry more that Fruits Basket, which is one the best manga I've ever read.
If you watch the beginning of Grave of the Fireflies after you watch the end, then everything makes sense and you start bawling even more than before.
I'm getting the chills even when I think about it.
When I get the chills it means that if I keep thinking about what I'm thinking, then I'm going to cry.
sniff...
As I'm looking around, I see that I don't have anything to talk about anymore...
So goodnight~
:D
Ahahahaha I drew SO much since the last post.
Wow.
I think softness is my style now.
:)
Well today the last chapter of Shinshi Doumei Cross cam out.
It's so good! very heartwarming.
I thought it was retarded when Haine-san said she's marry both Takanari-kun and Shizumasa-san.
What the heck?!
Marry two guys?
What was she thinking???
So yeah.
On Tuesday we went to Boomers.
It was really fun!
Everyone got unlimited passes to all the rides and stuff.
So basically, we went on everything.
I think cart racing is my new thing.
Very hip.
:D
jk.
The mini-put was really fun.
One of my friends kept hitting my ball with her ball, though.
It was a miracle if she didn't hit my ball.
I won, though, so yay?
:o
And later we went to that water thing.
I kept shooting the water at mainly one of my friends, and she got really soaked.
I just laughed at her when we all got out.
xD
and as for prizes, I was being a real pig and just got lots of candy.
lololol
and my bus-riding partners stole practically half my frozen lemonade...
My replacement tutor is a GUY!
:O!!
It gets really awkward when I do something and he says "You're smart."
It' a lame phrase, and I was silent every time he said that.
Today is Drawing Day, did you guys know?
Of course you knew!
The title says "Drawing Day", so you must know, right?
I drew a couple things for drawing day.
This one is a special for my manga.
I really really don't like it.
Mayumi looks weird, and there's just not enough background.
Sigh.
I can't explain how bad it is.
Mayumi's hair tone and skin tone really blend in together, so it looks messier than it already is.
This one was a fun one.
I love how Taro holds up a n00b style sign.
:D
He's really tan, though.
D:
...
He's supposed to be pretty pale, just a hair tanner than Mayumi...
And here are the drawings I drew that are NOT for drawing day.
This one's a tegaki.
Very minimalist, as one person told me.
I like it, but her clothes and the standing out of the headphones bother me...
Love the expression, even though it doesn't match what she's doing.
:D
Is it minimalist?
Maybe.
This one is the second official cover for Aviation: Reminiscence
What I like about it is the petals, the flower, the softness...
It would help if she just smiled, though.
I don't even know why she's just content.
Having the eyes kind of far apart was a good thing, though.
: /
The next is Aviation: Reminiscence's chapter 1 cover.
It's not as good as the above cover, but it's better than the drawing day special, in my point of view.
Momo looks better here.
What Mayumi's wearing is identical to the story cover, except for the hair clips.
I think it's cool when the hair clips make an "X"
lol.
As you can see, I'm going to start enlarging pics for this blog.
You can see it better, and it may not be necessary to view them in the gallery anymore.
I'm not saying you should click on it, though.
lol?
:P
So yeah.
I posted these drawing on DeviantArt so others could see them.
Wow, that was a pretty pointless thing to say.
Here's another pointless thing:
I made a couple icons out of them.
xD
The icon of "Listen" and "Avi Cover" look pretty nice.
I'm using them as my RMD icons.
:)
Also, here's a Kamichama Karin MV I've completed but never posted.
I think it's been a few weeks since it was done.
lol.
I'm also editing the Tsubasa one, but I need to get more pics so I'll finish that later.
I brightened up the pictures a lot, so it looks better.
Enjoy.
This is really all I need to say today.
Goodnight.
Today I started Death Note!
(I know, I'm lame, should have started earlier)
But I really love this manga!
I started on the first chapter, got hooked, and now I'm finished with the 25th.
Ah, I want to know who Misa is!
lol.
I really like L.
He's smart and cool and has these original poses.
And when he smiles he's so cute!
I also like the shinigami, lol.
He's funny.
Gotta have them apples.
If you've already read Death Note, then you probably think I'm super lame.
Sorry about that.
^^"
Oh yeah, yesterday we got a new car!
It's an Audi Q7 S-line.
Yeah, I don't really know what I said, either.
But it's really nice!
It's shiny black on the interior and exterior, and has stainless steel.
I love how so many things are automatic!
My mom's driving it, and I'm afraid of her crashing it.
My mom usually crashes,
and my dad usually gets tickets.
And I don't get anything because I don't have a driver's license.
When I do get one, I'm probably going to crash AND get tickets.
lol.
Tomorrow I'm going on a Boomers field trip!
Yeah, lots of field trips lately, but hey, I earned them....
...barely....
Oh and thank you guys so much for 100 hits!
If I could, I'll give you all Audi Q7 S-lines and a big hug.
:)
And sorry about Aviation: Reminiscence and Unclouded.
Probably years since I last drew the pages.
People on RMD probably think I quit them.
No, RMD friends, I am just taking a quite long break from manga making.
Thanks for your patience, I understand if you guys are mad...
So in the mean time, here's the summary of Aviation: Reminiscence-
Taro has an admirer.
She's someone other than Mayumi.
She gets beyond jealous.
She orders either Taro or Mayumi dead.
Taro goes to her to hopefully die to save Mayumi.
Instead, he turns into a _ due to a certain cause.
Mayumi goes to look for Taro.
She finds him suffering in his state.
Taro is wild, and he injures Mayumi both physically and mentally.
Mayumi almost dies, but is saved by _.
Taro returns almost to a normal state, but scars of pain still remain.
He feels horrible about Mayumi, to the point where he tries to commit suicide.
To rid Mayumi from her pain, Taro removes her memories of him.
--
and the last savoring parts you just have to find out.
I just wrote this down to
1. remind myself of what the heck I'm doing
and
2. to keep you hooked.
and please, please, please don't steal any ideas.
I'm speaking directly to other manga-ka.
Specifically. just one other manga-ka.
If you're reading this, I know you've taken many of my ideas
(effects, background, scenery, panel outlines, and even one of your characters looks like Taro, as far as hair and eyes.)
Plus, I'm sure you are another user that I know, but you don't want other people to know.
The style is very obvious, actually.
Not hard at all to figure out that the users are the same.
If you take my story ideas, too, then I will personally message you and warn you.
Thanks for reading this.
Sorry if it sounds harsh, but I am just sick and tired of her getting ratings and comments like, "You're so good at manga, you're like a pro", when that's because she stole ideas from me.
Can't you just make your own effects?
I know you made your own, even though it's based on my ideas.
What would you have done without my ideas?
Would it be different?
I think so.
Wow, I am just losing it.
Sorry for ranting.
I should just stop, lol.
Bye~
Hey guys!
I got a few nice things since the last post.
First of all, my mom let me buy acrylic stuff (paint, brushes, acrylic paper)!
I really love it~
I want to color some drawing traditionally with paint, but it looks like it's pretty hard.
:(
But I bought lots of acrylic paper and I know I'll improve eventually.
I'll post up the first acrylic manga drawing once I do one.
:P
And another thing is that I went to the mall with a couple friends.
It was really fun, but time was our enemy.
I bought these really nice lotions from Bath & Body Works.
One is Blushing Cherry Blossom,
and the other is Peach.
They smell really good!
And today I went to the mall to buy my promotion dresses.
I think they're really cute!
There were a lot of cuter ones, but my mom kept ranting about the bad sides about them.
But the ones I bought are nice, though, and expensive!
I showed my mom the price, one which was $130, and she said,
"That's not bad at all"
I think she's insane.
Okay, so here are the two dresses, front and back:
I didn't resize the images, so careful when you zoom if your computer's slow.
I'm planning to wear this one to the ceremony.
The straps are a tad loose. (lol), so I'm going to pin them.
Macy's, $130
And this one is for the promotion dance.
I think I need to wear something over it...
It's really comfortable :D
Macy's, $70
So yeah, these are the things I've bought.
And if you haven't noticed, I finally drew a blog banner!
(yaay)
It's just a 10 minute thing, I should make a better one.
But since I already drew this, I'll just draw another one some other time.
x)
Oh, and almost forgot!
I cut my hair at a nearby hair salon!
I've never done my hair there, but they did a really nice job.
:)
They layered my hair, and fixed my bangs, just how I wanted it.
I love how it looks like I have less hair.
I'm definitely going there next time!
:D
Oh, and by the way, when I was trying on dresses, I noticed a really weird tan on my arm!
(my left arm)
There's a random line separating pale from tan, and it's about three inches long, really visible.
I think I got it today, at church...
Ahhh, what do I do?!
I don't want to go to promotion like that!
D:
Eh, whatever.
Nothing much to do about it.
Well goodnight~
:3
I wish I would just hurry up on that banner drawing for this blog.
:(
I started drawing it today, and got interrupted and then I just drew other things.
I promise to have the banner a priority this time.
Also, regarding Aviation: Reminiscence and Unclouded, please wait for a while because I'd like to take a break from the manga, and I need to work on a request from a pal.
I'm really sorry...
:(
And as expected, I didn't have time to draw my RMD anniversary thing yesterday.
Luckily, I drew it the day before.
Here it is:
Pretty sad for such a merry celebration.
Kind of weird, isn't it.
Well, anyways, I tried to color this one dark, but it kind of failed...
Oh yeah.
The reason why I didn't have time yesterday to draw was because I went on a field trip to Six Flags Magic Mountain!
Yeah... my friend and I were way too chicken to go on the scary rides so we went separate from a couple of other friends for a while to ride some easy rides.
It was weird.
We found this ride called the Gold Rusher and we went on it three times because it went fast, but wasn't scary.
:P
But then we joined up again with our group and they forced me (only me) to go with them to ride Batman.
It wasn't that bad, but I hate how nauseous I get from riding things like that.
We also went on the ride next to Batman, the one where it keeps spinning.
My friend and I went on twice.
The first one she crushed me,
and the second one I crushed her.
(Twice as much as she crushed me because I wanted to crush her lol)
So yeah...
We also went on Colossis. (sorry, I can't spell)
It wasn't scary at all, you just had to duck on the drops and you feel fine.
My friend kept screaming, though.
She even kept screaming when we were taking slow, steady turns.
So then I called her "special".
After that we went on some kiddy rides.
When we realized that we were being dumb and wasting time, we rushed over to the log ride.
The first drop wasn't that all bad.
You barely get wet.
However, the second drop was really bad.
I was the person in the very front, so I got splashed a lot, but it seems that everyone got splashed equally.
We looked like we took long showers.
So yeah, it was really fun and cool though.
Plus I ate so much.
Here's a list of things I ate / souvenirs:
- french fries
- cherry coke
- dip n' dots
- frozen lemonade
- leftover asian snack
- few bites of panda express
- cotton candy
- sugar straw
- a piece of really good stuff, I forgot the name, but it's next to the front gate.
- a bottle cap ( the candy lol )
- an outfit for my baby brother
- a ring
I probably bought more, but just cant remember lol.
Overall, I had a blast.
The sucky part was that I had to have 9:00 pm tutor after that.
I was exhausted.
My mom is cruel.
-- -- --
Geometry finals are so easy!
I got a 94.
Hmm, not bad, but not good (according to my parents)
Oh well, I'm still happy about it.
Today I also had to take a writing test.
I took forever.
I was the second to last to finish.
Man, I'm a slow writer!
Hmm.
Well today I just practiced violin, drew and checked up on things.
I drew Emmalyn Rose's original characters, where a girl named Adeline is in love with her guardian angel named Matthew.
Adeline reminds me of Bella from Twilight, but that what I just love about her.
You should go check her out!
http://www.ratemydrawings.com/user/emmalyn%20rose/
She has a writer's voice, and I think she has great potential!
Her story is extremely addicting.
Emmalyn, I will definitely buy your book WHEN you get it published!
^^
Yup, so that's all for now.
'night~
I have many things to tell you.
So many things to tell, that I may have to continue this tomorrow.
I also might have to continue this tomorrow because I am in danger from my mom for going on the computer.
Okay, today I'll try to cover as much as I can.
However, if this post stops randomly, then you know that I've saved and ditched.
x)
First thing is...
Open house.
It was pretty fun!
I played in the orchestra and then I bought snacks from the 7th grade class thing.
Last year's 7th grade open house was much better, though.
They had tons of awesome things to sell.
Next, of course!, is the Apache PEACE mission trip!
We had so much fun, and I made tons of new friends. :)
The bus ride was like sitting in a Holocaust oven, though.
We all sat there four hours, a break, four hours, a break, and another four hours.
-_-
It wasn't fun at all.
I slept for three hours, though, according to my friend.
So at the mission trip, which is in Arizona, was pretty uncomfortable.
What surprised me was that when we got there, it was snowing.
SNOWING?!
IN ARIZONA?
WHEN IT'S 100 DEGREES IN CALIFORNIA?!
Just what kind of joke is the weather pulling on us?
Yeah, but it just got warmer the next day and the next, to the point where you don't even need a jacket.
Our food was just okay, but we barely had snacks in between.
Oh yeah, and we also slept on the ground.
Plus we weren't allowed to shower all three days.
My hair was just dripping in oil.
:(
Well the first night we settled in, getting used to the wild habitat, boys upstairs and girls downstairs.
The boys are so heavy, and since the ceiling is so thin, all the girls heard loud banging noises to the point where we thought the ceiling would break and we all had to duck and cover in the hall.
Yes, and it was pretty cold.
The next day, we woke up drowsy and ate some pretty nice breakfast.
I don't usually eat breakfast, and my stomach responded to that.
After breakfast we took a trip to the Apache reservations and cleaned up a place called the Kennel.
We were going to host a free carnival at the Kennel, so we went on a prayer walk to hand out all the flyers and pray for the Apaches.
Their normal living style is like being homeless compared to our normal living styles.
Also, there were dogs everywhere.
Homeless or not, just dogs dogs dogs dogs dogs.
We got back to the Kennel, and my friend and I helped screw the ramps and transport heavy boards.
Then we took a ride back to the First Baptist Church, where we ate, worshipped, ate dinner, played games, ate dessert, brushed up, and when to bed.
The following day we woke up more drowsily and basically did the same thing the day before.
When we got to the Kennel we were assigned to our carnival games, where we make the rules, and chart up the prize levels.
My friend and I were in charge of "Can-Can Toss", and everything was torture.
There was heavy wind, so the cans kept falling down.
I was in charge of picking up the cans when the people knocked them over.
It was tiring, exhausting, and I got muddy all over.
I'm okay with that, actually.
I needed a pull from my comfort zone.
What made me happy was that the Apaches all looked happy and grateful for all the little prizes.
As a reward we got an Apache meal from one of the women there, and it was so good!
x)
When we went back to the church we did everything we did the previous night, except I liked this night better.
We had to go to sleep an hour earlier that night.
Next day, we had to wake up at 5:30 in the morning.
Everyone hurried to pack and brush and clean and load the bus to set off at 7:00 am.
We watched a bunch of movies, and my favorite was National Treasure, even though I've watched it before already.
When I was bored, I either slept or watched some anime episodes on my iPod.
It's a Classic Video iPod, so batteries weren't a hassle.
Whew.
This trip home we went, took a break, and went again.
We came home a lot earlier than expected.
:)
My friend's mom gave me a ride home and when we got there, I took a big shock.
My parents and my baby brother were standing outside, cleaning up my tissued house.
Tissued.
House.
Tissued.
House.
Toilet paper.
... ... ...
I freaked out, and we could never find out who did it.
I'm not enemies with anyone who knows where I live.
But since today was the first time I got teepeed, I felt unusually skittish.
xD
Those scandals also took a couple of rock hills and set them on our front lawn.
They must have had lots of time on there hands, otherwise they lost a few hours from their crappy existences.
Whoever did this to us, regardless of how much of a friend you are to me, this was a stupid act and I hope you're happy because I hate you.
Period.
So when we finished cleaning up the place we went back inside.
The first thing I did was take a shower.
I found out that I smelled worse than trash, and I've discovered a new me.
Then I went to the computer to draw and check e-mail!
Oh how I've missed you, you box of metal.
Anyways, this is what I've drawn.
Yes, I've finished Fruits Basket.
You wouldn't believe me if I told you how much I cried.
It was really sad.
Sad.
sad...
I'm very disappointed that it isn't Tohru x Yuki!
Furuba manga-ka, just what were you thinking?
Did you purposely make me depressed?
:(
But I was very pleasantly surprised to find out how much this artist has improved from the beginning of Furuba to the end.
Dramatic difference!
Congratulations to you!
:D
Wow!
I'm very glad I finished this post tonight!
I was so sure I'd have to go back tomorrow to edit this!
^^
Goodnight!
